We live as long as we fly

Why I don't have a driver's license: part 2

So, you could say I didn't even take the test the first time around, because I didn't even make it out into the city. But the second time, after parking properly, we (meaning me, the instructor, and the inspector) rolled along one of the standard (and again, memorized by heart) routes to demonstrate my driving skills. I was driving quite tolerably, except for one spot in our city - the intersection with the dam. There, on the hill before the second traffic light, there's only enough room for 2 cars, so all the instructors warn you: if it's about to turn red, stop the car earlier, without driving onto the hill, before the first traffic light.
It looks like this:

I made a mistake, thinking that the first car on the hill would still have time to make it through on the flashing green, and as a result, my car ended up on the hill with its trunk sticking out onto the roadway. In the drawing, my car is the ancient black clunker.
Fortunately, they punish you severely for this, but not fatally. They gave me 4 penalty points out of 10 for it. I flunked on something else.
Almost at the end of the route, there is a place like this:
A schematic representation of a T-intersection, where three red cars are parked one behind the other in the right lane of a vertical road, and to their left is the silhouette of a black car.
There is almost never any traffic there, just like there wasn't that time either. I needed to turn left. I was driving in the left lane because there were parked cars in the right one. Accordingly, before turning left, I was supposed to take the extreme left position, but in my own, right lane. That is, I should have moved over to the right lane, and turned left from there. Unfortunately, the cars were parked very close to the intersection. I can't say exactly how close now. In any case, I moved into my right lane, but not completely, and the car ended up sitting more like slightly to the right of the center of the two-lane roadway. The instructor was furiously signaling me to position the car further to the right, but since the car had already almost stopped, I didn't bother straightening it out, and, after making sure there was no traffic from the right, I turned left. This turned out to be a fatal mistake, because it cost 10 penalty points right away.
And that's how I failed for the second time.
